The short version
iCyclop is a counting aid — the professional always makes the final call. Pro is billed on icyclop.com, renews automatically, and you can cancel anytime. Use the app reasonably and it'll serve you well.
What iCyclop is
iCyclop is software that counts pills and reads prescription labels to assist pharmacy and veterinary professionals. It is a convenience and decision-support tool — not medical, pharmacist, or veterinary advice.
Professional responsibility
iCyclop's counts and label readings can be wrong — they are an aid. The licensed professional remains responsible for independently verifying every count and reading, and for the medication provided to the patient or client. Please don't rely on iCyclop as the sole check before dispensing.
Your account
Keep your credentials secure and your information accurate. Your account is personal to you — please don't share your credentials. We may limit the number of devices that can use a single account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
iCyclop Pro and billing
Pro is a paid subscription sold on icyclop.com and billed by Stripe — $3.99/month or $29.99/year after a 7-day free trial. It renews automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the paid period. Promotional free periods (like contributor or referral rewards) are discretionary, have no cash value, and may change. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Your contributions
If you submit count corrections or campaign photos, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and adapt them to develop and improve our models and services. You confirm you have the right to submit each photo and that it contains nothing you aren't authorized to share.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, scraping, reselling, interfering with the service, or using it unlawfully or to violate anyone's rights.
Intellectual property
iCyclop, its software, models, and branding are ours and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Your photos remain yours.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispensing error, miscount, or harm arising from reliance on the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the app, your contributions, or your breach of these terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Québec.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app and on this page. Continued use means you accept the revised terms.
